UNIVERSITY SUPPORT STAFF SENATE MEMBER PROFILES

Peggy Palmer, President, University Support Staff Senate I recently received my 40-year service pin, recognizing my career at KU which began in September 1971. My first position was in the Office of the Registrar, a job I took after high school. Seven years later I became the Office Supervisor for KU Printing Services, a position I held for almost 20 years. I have worked in Strong Hall, the main administrative building on campus, since 1999 when I began working as the office manager for Student Success. For the past three years I've worked with the Provost Business Services team as the budget and personnel staff for the office. I was elected as University Support Staff President and began my two year term in May 2012. The USS Senate represents the interests, values and insights of all University Support Staff and communicates with the University of Kansas administration, the Kansas legislature and others on behalf of the University Support Staff. |
